Andynow almost 18is getting ready for college, and the plot follows the adventures of Andy's childhood toys as they're accidentally donated to a preschool/daycare center for a new generation of kids to enjoy, much to the toys' dismay. I feel that the incinerator scene is insulating because it manipulates the audience into crying even though it makes no sense. So when I found out Toy Story 3 was being shown at the kid’s theater, I jumped on the occasion. Although s ome scenes may be a bit too dark for a G-rated film, most notably the Incinerator scene and the Caterpillar Room sequence where the toys (except Woody) are thrown around by little kids, Lotso, while not bad, is a predictable mean villain and goes out the same way as Stinky Pete in Toy Story 2. The ending is very sad, but heartwarming and emotional. Like the first and second film, this film has a great story with good morals. As Woody frantically tries to figure out a way to get out, the other toys all solemnly accept their fate and take each other’s hands. While the Toy Story saga touches on themes of loneliness, love, family, loyalty, and identity, it doesn’t deal with death too often. The scenes with Andy and the little girl are the best for me, besides the incinerator scene. ![]() It still has the spirited over the first two movies and so as the fourth movie, and o nce again, the characters are still unforgettable. In the climactic sequence of Toy Story 3, the toys are carted off to a garbage dump and accidentally end up in the incinerator, being sent down a waterfall of trash into a red-hot furnace to be burned alive. toys arent given that much attention in this film beyond Woody. Toy Story 3 takes place seven years after the second film, and it's still a great follow up! Woody and their toys find themselves in a day-care center, which it was a cool idea, and Lotso, and the day care was officially considered the ultimate in prison film parodies, Magnificent animation that is a major step up from the first two films.
